Sydney and Marvin: Life Lessons on the Wing
Genre: Children’s Fiction / Picture Book / Family
Sydney and Marvin: Life Lessons on the Wing is a heartwarming and gently wise children’s story about a young seagull named Sydney who embarks on an adventure with his older, wiser friend Marvin. Set against the sweeping coastlines of northern France, their journey together becomes something far greater than a simple tale of flight — it becomes a story about friendship, patience, self-belief, and the courage it takes to grow at your own pace.
Through Marvin’s quiet wisdom and Sydney’s eager spirit, young readers discover that the most important lessons in life are rarely taught in classrooms. They are learned in the moments we share with the people — and the seagulls — who truly care about us.
A perfect read-aloud for children aged 4 to 8, and a book that parents and grandparents will find themselves returning to long after the children have fallen asleep.

THE EMISSARY
Based on the real daily journal of a teenage Jewish boy living through the German Occupation of Paris, this is a story of identity, survival, and extraordinary courage in impossible circumstances. Ronald has dramatized the events of the journal to bring them to life for a modern readership — creating a work of historical fiction that honours its source while making it vivid, urgent, and deeply moving.

Brexit Book — Future Title
In 2016, Ronald was considering how the complexities of Brexit could be explained in a way that was both engaging and accessible to a broad audience. He developed the concept of an imagined conversation in which he is seated on a bench along the historic fortress walls of Saint-Malo, discussing Brexit with the renowned French statesman, diplomat, military figure, and author François-René de Chateaubriand.
Through this fictional dialogue, Ronald explores the political, historical, and cultural dimensions of Brexit from both British and European perspectives. This concept should be included within the New Releases section under Brexit.
